For this project, I wanted to create a very sophisticated, clean, yet somewhat avant-garde design for my "selfie". This was probably one of the most detailed projects I've done in a while, becuase the geometric design consists of altering the pen tool size and creating paths over and over again. Yet, the results are incredible in my opinion! The geometric style is what gave this piece the structural element. The avant-garde aspect comes into play with the strike of pink watercolor on the side of the face, and the loose-shaped watercolor roses and leaves. I wanted this artwork to have the best of both worlds, both flowing and sharp/structured, and I am very happy with how it came out!
